Use palm tree jungle
decorations in the corners of your room. Or as a great impact for
your arriving guests, position one either side of your entrance
door. These tree decorations, alongside the green door curtain will
make your guests truly feel as though they are entering a jungle

Party
balloons are a wonderful way of decorating a room. Mix up a
selection of plain green balloons, animal print balloons and monkey
shaped balloons to give the effect of monkeys and hidden animals in
the trees. Let plain green helium balloons hang free from the
ceiling and tie green garlands to the bottom to act as hanging
creepers. Create green balloon archways, clusters and columns to
fill the party venue corners and act as trees.

1.tropical food is
perfect for jungle parties
Pineapple is very
versatile to make your feast exotic and tropical and because it is
easily recognised by children you shouldn't get too many fussy
eater problems (although it may be an idea to have some of the
options without pineapple on hand in case this happens). Pineapple
and cheese on sticks and pineapple and ham pizza work great. Make
ordinary party food more appealing by threading them onto kebab
sticks (blunt the ends to avoid sharp edges) for example mini
sausages, cheese and pineapple chunks are a great kebab idea and
can be called 'jungle tree kebabs'. Create a jungle punch with
normal fruit juices and 'monkey smoothies' with a mix of bananas,
yoghurt and ice cream - sprinkle chocolate and cream on top to make
this more appealing.
2.themed jungle food
Label
ordinary party food with jungle themes to make it more exciting.
For example flap jacks can be 'monkey treats', jelly strings 'sweet
creepers', cheesy bread sticks and twiglets are great 'tree
branches and twigs'. Make large burgers with lettuce leaves and
call them 'lions dinner', Broccoli cheese can be labelled as
'jungle trees'.

There
are lots of animal shaped foods you can buy such as animal biscuits
and chocolates from the supermarkets. Organic animal pasta shapes
can be purchased from the Annabel Karmel range in Boots or most
larger supermarkets. Transform ordinary sandwiches, cheese and
pizzas into jungle shapes using cookie cutters or cutting them into
palm leave shapes.

Bunches of bananas and grapes dotted
around the jungle feast are both great jungle decorations and
healthy edibles (very impressive to all the parents!). Display your
party nibbles in large lettuce leaves.
Use fun cocktail sticks on the food
for tropical decorations. Serve your food in jungle themed party

conga snake
A perfect fun game where the
children line up and slither around the room kicking out their legs
and singing oo oo oo come on and do the conga! maybe do this one
before the party tea!
2.
sleeping lions
This game is perfect for after your party
tea to calm the kids down before their parents pick them up. The
children have to pretend to be sleeping lions and keep as still as
they can. If you spot a movement the child is
out.
3. animal charades
Put
animal names into a lucky dip and ask a nominated child to pull
their animal out of the hat. The child has to mime (no noise) the
animal to the other children. The child that guesses correctly is
the next to mime.

A lovely
game from practical parenting party games book. Similar to animal
charades but this time two of each animal is put into the hat. All
the children take an animal name out of the hat and keep it a
secret. When you say 'go' all the children make the animal noise
without any actions and try and find their animal partner. This can
be done for a second time round. The names are put back in the hat
and pulled out again but this time no noises are allowed and the
children have to spot their animal partner through
mime.
